At Hakotsukuri beach you can enjoy a 700 meter long beach, with white sand, surrounded by greenery, making it a scenic area to go swimming at! If the weather is nice enough, you can even see Awaji Island, Akashi-Kaiko Bridge, and even Kansai International Airport. Perfect to relax and have a fun day in the sun at!

Starting this year, there’s even an area for BBQ. Have the perfect summer day from morning until sunset at Pichipichi Beach.

The name “nishiki” means two colors and here you can get a beautiful view of the white sand beach and the bright blue sky. There’s even a pine forest nearby to add in a pop of green.

Within Japan, Nishiki-no-Hama was selected as one of the 100 best spots for white sand & pine trees in Japan. Here you can feel relaxed with calm waves and a long beach extending for about 1 kilometer. There are few stones and rocks so it is safe for even small children. For more summer fun, you can even enjoy fireworks from 6:00 AM until 9:00 PM! Please just make sure to only use the permitted types of fireworks.

1, 2, 3… 4!! There are 4 outdoor pools at Hirakata Park! Enjoy a summer siesta at the Siesta pool–a pool set on top of the hill, great for viewing the surrounding areas and relaxing. In the huge Dombura pool you can experience a running current–get swept up in the fun! In the Nagisa Pool you can enjoy a more traditional pool–the further you get, the deeper it goes. And of course for kids there’s the Wanpaku Pool with a waterslide and other fun water jungle gym like features to play with.

If you’re feeling brave: try out the Crying Tube. That’s right, it’s a super fast water slide called the Crying Tube that’s over 212 meters long! You be 120cm or above to ride. Do you think you can handle it…?! There are several other water slides available for those looking for something a little more tame or kid friendly.

You can enjoy other parts of Hirakata Park in your bathing suit during summer time, no problem. So you can go from Hirakata Park to The Boon and back without needing to change. Sounds like the perfect day!
